When an apple is cut, the flesh inside is first exposed to oxygen, which caused chemical changes that make the flesh start to brown. Arctic Apples:
Harvard
University says: "some anti-GMO groups continue to
protest
the
approval of Arctic apples, arguing that unforeseen consequences of
the genetic alteration could impact safety. It's true that it's
impossible to predict and disprove every possible consequence of a
genetic change. But a
recent
review
by the National Academies of Science that
covers decades of published research found no convincing evidence
that GE crops have negatively impacted human health or the
environment. "
Please spare me the hate mail: if you
don't like it, just don't buy it. I don't intend to buy it either,
there are plenty of non-GM apples and they're cheaper. That's how
freedom works and I have zero tolerance for bullies. But this
