What is a community health board?
The community health board is the legal governing authority for local public
health in Minnesota, and community health boards work with MDH to promote the public's health. Minnesota community health boards must serve at least
30,000 people. If a single county doesn't meet the population requirement, it can form a community health board with one or more neighboring
counties.
