Below are the U-Pick orchards and farms for muscadines that we know of in this area. Not all areas of any state, nor even every state, have muscadines orchards that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

The nursery produces thousands of plants each year for commercial and hobbyist growers alike.     Comments from a visitor on July 02, 2016: strawberries and blueberries also sell fresh eggs and is an awesome winery. i believe it is run by all women. has a fun gift shop with wine tastings, restrooms and places to drink the fresh strawberries shakes they sell!

Grape picking tips

  • Pick ripe: Grapes do not ripen after they are picked
  • Appearance: Look for heavy, firm grapes
  • To harvest grapes, carefully cut the grape clusters from the vine using pruning shears. Be careful not to bruise or damage the fruit or the surrounding vines.
