It looks like most festivals are returning, aside from those that were killed off by the lockdowns of the past 2 years. That took a heavy toll on their finances. I am checking with them day by day, if you have an update for an, please tell me via the

the name of the festival) to see the current information on the festival's

Ohio 2024 Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!
Ohio
There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm
They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately.
(of course not all states and areas have both. And following the
festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about
making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and
much more.
CHECK before you go. Texas, Florida, Georgia, etc, are fully re-opened and having no problems, but Ohio is still
cancelling outdoor events like strawberry festivals. Community Strawberry Festivals

Augusta Township VFD Annual Strawberry Festival - Friday and Saturday in early June - The parade will be held
Saturday at7 p.m. UPDATE for 2022, There is nothing on their website about it, as of early May 2022 - call them, email them or keep checking their website
The Park by the Elementary School, Augusta, OH

games, tractor pulls and a band. This is the 70th year for the
Augusta Strawberry Festival, since 1949 to 2019! Parade Line up at
6pm,Step Off at 7pm. North of the village. Friday Tractor Pull - Scales
Open at 5pm Pull Starts @ 6pm on Saturday the Tractor Pull-Scales Open

There will also be Bingo, Games, Good Food,

Come enjoy strawberries, homemade cakes and Young's ice cream at our Annual Strawberry Fest! At 7pm, the YS Community Band (w/James Johnston) will

- The Holland-Springfield Strawberry Festival

we will be having some new events going on through the week and the
weekend. New this year will be a bike give away, we will be giving away
a new bike every night to one lucky boy and one lucky girl between the

Kirtland Kiwanis Strawberry Festival -
early August (check their
website for this year's dates), 5 consecutive days, usually from noon to
late evening.

in its 48th year, features a strawberry theme, with amusement rides for
young children, teens and adults; it also has a midway and flea market.
The Strawberry Festival Parade is held at 6:30pm on Friday. Strawberry
desserts (strawberry shortcake and chocolate covered strawberries) are a
wonderful part of the festival and there are fresh strawberries for
sale, as well. Portions of the profits are used for local scholarships
and community projects. Admission is Free.

London Ohio Strawberry Festival

Newark Strawberry Festival - early June, Friday, Saturday and
Sunday, in late May or early June from 11 am to 10 pm on
Friday and Saturday; 11 am to 6 pm on Sunday.

Festival is held every year in Newark, Ohio on the Courthouse
square. Newark is located 35 miles east of Columbus on State Route
16 where it crosses State Routes 13. Located on Courthouse Square in
downtown Newark in Central Ohio, this is Licking County's largest
annual event. The weekend is filled with fun and entertainment for
the entire family. Over 90 artisans, crafters and vendors from Ohio
and surrounding areas exhibit their items. There will be ice cream,
pizza, specialty sandwiches, French fries, and other delicious foods
along with non-stop stage entertainment. Bates Amusement will be
providing the rides and games this year. The opening day will be
highlighted with the Strawberry Pageant on the courthouse gazebo
from 5:00 - 7:00. Delightful young girls and women from kindergarten
age through 12th grade participate in the event. Pageant winners
from 4 different age categories will be crowned. Tour bus and
handicapped parking is available. There is plenty of free parking
around the square and along the streets. Hope to see you there! (

Norwalk Jaycees Strawberry Festival - Memorial Day weekend in late May (check

Directions: The festival is held on the levee of the Miami River, Troy,
OH. From Dayton, OH travel north on highway 75 to Troy, OH. Exit 69,
exit 72 and exit 74 offer free parking and shuttle service. The Troy
Strawberry Festival is 10 minutes from the intersection of highway 70
and highway 75.

- Winona St. Martin's Lutheran Church Strawberry Festival - Typically on a Sunday
in mid-June
St. Martin's Lutheran Church, 328 East Broadway, Winona, OH. There will be children's games, inflatables, and live Christian music.
Chicken dinners will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Tickets for a half chicken dinner are (2021 price) $9.50; hot dog plates and
strawberry desserts will also be available. Dinner tickets can be purchased in advance at the church and school offices or at the ticket booth the day
of the event.

- Winona Historical Society Strawberry Festival

demonstrations of traditional home-crafts and the scutching of flax; sharing of the music of dulcimers and vintage instruments and viewing of 2 Quaker
Meeting houses listed on the National Register of Historic Places.Winona Area Historical Society is sponsoring its 11th Strawberry Festival on Sunday,
June 23rd, on the Society’s grounds at the corner of Winona Road and Cameron Street, Winona, OH. (GPS:32114 Winona Rd., Hanoverton, OH 44423).
Featured food includes our popular barbecued chicken, sides, hot sandwiches, homemade desserts and ice cream and strawberry topping. Visit the porch of
the 1895 Quaker Meeting House to view home craft and flax scutching demonstrations and free facepainting. Inside, enjoy dulcimer and vintage instrument
playing while touring and learning about the Quakers who once worshiped there. Stop by to meet the Winona Fire Department on site. At 2:00 pm, on the
porch of the 1838 Museum/Meeting House, Kiko Auctions will sell items donated by local businesses and community members. Donations are greatly

Society's archival preservation, programs and maintenance of the 2 meeting houses and grounds which are listed on the National Register of Historic

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.
See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them
until the end of May). They usually have PYO strawberries then, too.
