Notes for April 2025: The northern half of the U.S. (and most of Canada, of course) are under snow. So, the crops to pick are pretty much limited to Florida, Texas, southern California and a few other areas of the Deep South. Citrus, for one, is a crop that is usually available now; and in those areas, soon also strawberries and blueberries. Check your area's crop calendar (see this page) and call your local farms for seasonal updates.

A visitor writes on July 06, 2018: "Loved it, will definitely be back. This is the son and daughter in law of Bill's Honey Farm. The listing for Bills has their phone number included but it's a separate location across some fields and on another road. Bills Honey Farm only sells honey and does not have u-pick on site. Discovered that this morning when we drove up to the wrong place! We disturbed poor Bill who came out in his bathrobe to help us. There are blueberries and blackberries, though the blackberries aren't out for picking right now. They also clearly have grapevines though don't know if they do upick grapes. We harvest each peach variety over a 7-10 day period. This allows for us to harvest peaches continuously for about 15 weeks.
Strawberries are harvested from around April 15th until June 10th. The varieties we grow are Chandler and Camarosa. We have berries available at our market, but we also allow customers to pick their own. We also grow plums, watermelon, cantaloupes, tomatoes, squash, sweet corn and other vegetables.
