  A visitor writes on August 28, 2019: "It was a lot of fun! Although the weather was cold, windy and rainy.  But the event was saved by moving Indoor, school gym. Sampled horseradish in many dishes and Sampled Dutch Oven dishes, never spent a dime! Fremont Flip Auction was mostly repurposed items, very creative!!"

• North Fork Horseradish Festival - Saturday in early May, May 4, 2019 from 11 am to 5 pm
  Hallockville Farm Museum​, 6038 Sound Avenue, Riverhead, NY 11901. Come join us in celebrating your love (and ours) of horseradish each Spring! On the grounds of the historic hallockville musem farm, enjoy horseradish inspired fare with local wine from bridge lane, beer from north fork brewing co., oysters from little creek, locally crafted and homemade products from both north & south fork farms. (generous samples of horseradish provided, though food & drink are pay as you go). Admission is $10 per adult and children under 12 are free.

• Long Island Horseradish Festival - Postponed until further notice.
  Long ISland, NY. The Long Island Horseradish Festival will be a celebration of all things horseradish from one-of-a-kind horseradish products, to demonstrations, contests and activities. Bringing children? Kids will have a ton of fun with an egg hunt, face painting, games and more. The event will take place outdoors, under tents, in the Belmont picnic area, rain or shine. It is highly recommended that you purchase your ticket in advance so you are not sold-out at the door and can take advantage of special discounts. If not sold out, tickets will be available at the door for $25. Check out our Facebook page for special discount codes for you to save! The Meerrettich Museum is all about the cultivation and industry of Horseradish. Every year on the 3rd Sunday in September in the heart of Baiersdorf the traditional Baiersdorf Krenmarkt takes place under the motto "Horseradish and more for a healthy life".
